The much-awaited film Oppenheimer is set to feature "prolonged full nudity" from two of its lead stars, it has been disclosed.

The film by Christopher Nolan, tells the real life story of Robert J. Oppenheimer, known as 'the father of the atomic bomb'. His work on developing the first nuclear weapons during World War II through the Manhattan Project has etched his name in history.

'Full Nudity' a Novelty for a Nolan Film

Cillian Murphy and Florence Pugh, who are playing the lead roles in the film have reportedly shot nude scenes. This marks a departure for a Nolan directed film that generally doesn't delve into sex and relationships.

As revealed in the The Guardian, the nudity featured is "prolonged".

The Art of Building On-screen Chemistry

In an interview, Cillian Murphy explained the process of filming and developing chemistry with his co-stars Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt. He described it as a seemingly "outrageously silly" process of feeling the chemistry without any calculable metric.

The film also stars Robert Downey Jr, Matt Damon, Kenneth Branagh, Rami Malek, Josh Peck, Gary Oldman, Casey Affleck, and Jack Quaid to name a few.

Christopher Nolan described the initial reception of the film concluding that "some people leave the movie absolutely devastated" after early screenings.
