Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 10 May 2026

Plain English: some links on this site earn us a small commission if you buy. They never cost you extra. Our editorial picks are not influenced by commission rates.

What affiliate links are

Affiliate links are URLs that contain a unique tracking identifier. When you click one and complete a purchase on the retailer's site, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as without the link.

Programmes we participate in

  • Amazon UK Associates — we are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon UK (amazon.co.uk) and affiliated sites.
  • Awin Network (where applicable) — for UK retailers that don't run their own Amazon-style programme.

Our editorial commitment

We commit to:

  • Editorial independence. We don't accept payment for favourable mentions, and our recommendations are based on the article topic, not commission rates.
  • Clear labelling. Affiliate links live in a "Recommended" widget block, not hidden in regular prose, so you can tell when a link is monetised.
  • No fake urgency. We don't manufacture "deals expiring soon" pressure. Prices and offers we mention are accurate at the time of writing or last update.
  • Honest comparisons. When we mention products from an affiliate programme, we apply the same scrutiny we'd apply to any other product. Where a product is poor or there's no good option, we say so.

What changes when you click an affiliate link

Clicking an affiliate link doesn't share your personal information with us. The retailer (Amazon, Awin partner, etc.) sees that the visit came from us via a tracking parameter, and may set their own cookies on their site for the standard 24-hour attribution window.

If you'd rather not

You're welcome to copy the product name and search for it directly on the retailer's site without using our link. We'll still publish the same article — affiliate revenue helps but isn't required for our content.

Required statement (Amazon UK Associates)

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Recharge Vodafone is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon UK.
