Netflix has released the trailer for its highly-anticipated sequel to "Chicken Run," titled "Dawn of the Nugget." The film, produced by Aardman, features an all-star cast including Peter Serafinowicz as Reginald Smith and Miranda Richardson reprising her role as archvillain Mrs. Tweedy. The movie takes place 20 years after the original and follows Ginger as she and Rocky hatch a little girl named Molly. However, their peaceful existence is threatened by a new and terrible danger. "Dawn of the Nugget" is set to premiere on December 15.The star-studded cast also includes Thandiwe Newton as Ginger, Zachary Levi as Rocky, Bella Ramsey as Molly, and Imelda Staunton as Bunty. Other returning cast members include Lynn Ferguson as Mac, David Bradley as Fowler, and Jane Horrocks as Babs. The voice of Ginger has been recast with Thandiwe Newton, causing previous actress Julia Sawalha to express her disappointment. Sam Fell directs the film, with Steve Pegram and Leyla Hobart as producers and a screenplay by Karey Kirkpatrick, John O'Farrell, and Rachel Tunnard. "Dawn of the Nugget" will make its debut at the London Film Festival next month.
