âHe was an overwhelmingly positive force in my life when I was creating the `Speak Now` album. I must admit that every single stunt that you saw in that music video involved him, said Swift, referring to her Grammy-nominated album from 2010.
Returning Icons
Lautner, accompanied by The Kissing Booth star Joey King and A Star Is Born's Presley Cash on stage, were all part of Swiftâs fresh video. This video was unveiled at the stadium a few hours after her re-recorded version of 'Speak Now' was launched on streaming platforms.

Swift, who famously dated Lautner in 2009, disclosed on Instagram after the show that she had been expecting the release of the music video for many months. The treatment for the video was apparently written âover a year agoâ with a desire to have King and Cash co-star.

Swift posted about her heist movie-inspired video on Instagram, "Joey and Presley had been in the video for âMeanâ when they were 9 and 13, and they are back and incredibly badass!" "Taytay (Lautner) is absolutely brilliant, didn't even need a stunt double!"

Revisiting Past Relationships
âBack to Decemberâ was acclaimed for its description of Lautnerâs âtan skinâ and âsweet smile.â At the time, Swift infamously reported that it was âa song and a conversation that needed to happenâ and agreed that she felt âcomfortable singing about these detailsâ but hesitated to talk about them.
The songstress has been continually re-recording her initial six albums under the â(Taylorâs Version)â label after partnering with Republic Records in 2018, following a contract agreement with Big Machine Records in 2004 to relinquish her music rights in return for money advances.

In an Instagram post, she expressed having "always wanted to direct fight scenes/a heist storyline", and desired to symbolically depict "how itâs felt for me to have the fans helping me reclaim my musicâ.
Curtain Close
Lautner, whose wife Swift praised for being part of the set, also posted after the concert : âSecrets out! Tonight was wildâ. The over 70,000 fans who attended Fridayâs show undoubtedly agreed!
