The Scottish National Party (SNP) is considering the possibility of seeking independence from the UK, even if they lose several MPs in the upcoming general election. At their autumn conference in Aberdeen, SNP delegates agreed that having a majority of Scottish MPs in Westminster would be sufficient to initiate negotiations with the UK government.
