Siva Kaneswaran Recalls Heartbreak at Bandmate Tom Parker's Cancer Diagnosis

Irish singer Siva Kaneswaran shared his heartbreak on the reality show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins over the cancer diagnosis of his bandmate Tom Parker. In a task where recruits had to write final letters to their loved ones, Kaneswaran expressed his emotions about visiting Parker. The 33-year-old Parker passed away in March 2022 due to a brain tumor.

Kaneswaran, along with Parker, Max George, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes, rose to fame in 2009 as part of the boyband The Wanted. He ended the letter by saying that he was going to see Tom and would send a postcard.

Kaneswaran admitted that it is still tough for him to talk about Parker, as being in a boyband provided some of the happiest memories of his life.
