Farnaby misunderstood her reply and thought she was referring to playing the role of the Queen. Unfortunately, she clarified that she is indeed the Queen, and Paddington is not real.

Farnaby admitted that he lost all his confidence when the Queen corrected his misunderstanding. He had thought she meant it as a role, but she made it clear that being the Queen was not an act. Farnaby expressed his appreciation for the Queen's willingness to adjust her performance to meet the desired portrayal.
The sketch concluded with Paddington wishing the Queen a "happy jubilee" and expressing gratitude "for everything."
