Roger Moore’s Lookalike Sons Steal Show at Auction Launch of Bond Star’s Belongings
Attendees at the launch of a Sir Roger Moore auction were in for a surprise when they spotted the James Bond star’s lookalike sons. The event, held at Bonhams auction house, showcased Moore's personal collection of film memorabilia that was set to go under the hammer. Moore, who portrayed the British spy in multiple films, passed away in 2019 at the age of 89.

Moore's Sons Make an Appearance
Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, along with the late actor's family, attended the auction launch. The event saw 180 of Moore's belongings up for sale, including a tuxedo worn by the actor in one of the Bond films. However, it was Moore's sons, Geoffrey and Christian, who stole the show with their striking resemblance to their father. The brothers were accompanied by their sister, Deborah. Geoffrey, a musician, and Christian, an actor-director, shared fond memories of their father, describing him as a father, friend, debonair movie star, and ambassador.

Highlights of the Auction
The auction, held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the film "Live and Let Die," featured a wide range of items. These included Moore's collection of silk ties and cravats worn at showbiz events, listed at £1000. A set of 20 Bond-themed Swatch wristwatches, along with a specially designed suitcase, were also up for sale. Notably, a Gucci contacts book owned by Moore, containing the old addresses and phone numbers of stars like Sir Paul McCartney and Princess Margaret, was among the unique items on offer.

On Wednesday, the items were set to be sold to the highest bidder, concluding the auction.

In other auction news, a first edition copy of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes novel "The Hound of the Baskervilles," previously owned by Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, recently sold for a record-breaking £214,000. Charlie Watts' collection of first edition books, including F.
