The Cranberries' highly acclaimed third album, To The Faithful Departed, is set to be reissued in expanded CD and vinyl editions this October.

Reissue Details

The single vinyl set will replicate the original album, while the 2LP package will include the expanded 15-track version on three sides, with the additional tracks on side four. These bonus tracks consist of three previously unreleased album demos recorded with producer Tim Palmer in Paris.

Band's Reflections on the Album

Drummer Fergal Lawler recalls the band's decision to record the album with a new producer, stating, "We had spoken to Island Records about the possibility of trying a new producer and they suggested Tim Palmer... We had been touring a lot and wanted more of a live sound."

Deluxe Edition Contents

In addition to the reissued album, the 3CD deluxe edition will include unreleased demos, outtakes, and early mixes, as well as 12 live tracks recorded during The Cranberries' 1996 Free to Decide tour. The deluxe edition will also feature an extensive booklet detailing the making of the album, based on interviews with the band members.

Release Date

The reissue of To The Faithful Departed is scheduled to be released on October 13, 2023, via UMR/Island.
