Jody has teamed up with reigning Strictly champion Jowita Przystał for this year's show, which he describes as an "amazing" experience. His fiancée and her mother will be in the audience to support him during his first dance.

In an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com, Jody revealed that his fiancée has been a pillar of support throughout his dancing journey. He said, "Lucy has been an instrumental part in this. She's been holding the fort at home while I've been away practicing in the studio. It's nice for her to be able to come out, get glammed up, and watch the Strictly show."

Jody also shared that his fiancée's mother is a avid Strictly fan and is particularly excited to see him dance on the renowned dance floor. "It's going to be nice to perform for them," he added.

Jody and Lucy announced their engagement on Instagram last year. In a post, he expressed, "2022 is done and dusted, I got engaged to my amazing fiancée in New York" (as reported by The Sun).

Jody and Jowita will be performing a Quickstep to the song "I'm Sitting On Top Of The World" by Bobby Darin this weekend. Talking about their song choice, Jody described it as "a jolly number" and believes it's a great song to start their journey on the show.
