New Game Of Thrones series announced by HBO

Despite the controversial ending of Game of Thrones, HBO has greenlit another series that will take fans back to the world of Westeros. Titled "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight," the prequel is set 90 years before the events of Game of Thrones and follows the story of Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon V Targaryen, also known as Dunk and Egg. George R.R. Martin, creator of the original books and collaborator on the project, expressed hope that HBO will continue the story beyond the first season. While no premiere date has been set yet, writing for the series is already in progress.

While fans eagerly await the new series, they are still yearning for a Game of Thrones video game adaptation. However, with popular RPG titles like The Witcher and The Elder Scrolls dominating the market, the possibility of a AAA Game of Thrones game seems unlikely. Nonetheless, George R.R. Martin assures fans that today is a day for celebration as Dunk and Egg are coming.
