How to get Spirited Away tickets for the 2024 London stage debut
The highly anticipated stage adaptation of Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away is set to make its London debut in 2024. Directed by John Caird, known for his work on Les Misérables, the play will feature the original Japanese cast with English captions and a live orchestra performing Joe Hisaishi's iconic film score.

Spirited Away tells the tale of Chihiro, a 10-year-old girl who moves to the countryside with her parents. As they explore a local town, Chihiro's parents are transformed into pigs after eating enchanted food. In order to save them, Chihiro must work in a bath house and convince the sorceress Yubaba to turn her parents back into humans. Along the way, she encounters various spirits, including the popular character No Face, and develops a love story with a dragon named Haku.
Miyazaki's Spirited Away is regarded as one of the greatest movies of all time, currently holding the 29th position on IMDb's Top 100 list. It also won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, making it the first hand-drawn and non-English-language animated film to receive this honor.
