Bake Off 2023: Meet the contestants for the 14th series of The Great British Bake Off

The lineup for the 14th series of The Great British Bake Off has been revealed, including the show's first ever deaf baker. The new series, hosted by Alison Hammond, will feature 27-year-old Tasha, a participation officer from Bristol, who will be joined by her sign language interpreter, Daryl.

Speaking about her experience on the show, Tasha said, "Seeing Daryl up at the front and feeling fully part of the show was a really special moment. I couldn't have done it without him, and without the dedication from the show ensuring I had the same access as the other bakers."

Joining Tasha are a scientist, an accountant, and a retired flight attendant, among others. The show is set to return on 26 September, with Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith returning as judges. Alison Hammond joins Noel Fielding as the new hosting team.
