TV stars nominated for NTAs share glam preparation ahead of awards ceremony

Stacey Solomon and Rosie Ramsey, among other TV nominees, gave fans a glimpse into their glamorous preparations prior to the highly anticipated National Television Awards (NTAs) ceremony. The event, now in its 28th year, will take place at London's O2 on Tuesday evening, where a multitude of famous faces will compete in various categories, all voted for by the general public.

Stacey Solomon, known for her BBC One show Sort Your Life Out, which focuses on transforming cluttered homes across the UK, will be vying for the award in the factual entertainment category. In anticipation of the ceremony, Solomon shared a photo of herself on a running machine. Posting on her Instagram story, the 33-year-old revealed her nerves and emotions: "My anxiety is high, hormones are raging and my emotions are all over the place. So I went for a run, with maybe a mild cry."

Rosie Ramsey, podcast host and star of the BBC show The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show, which is nominated for best TV interview at the NTAs, also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look into her pre-awards preparations. Ramsey documented her tanning session and mentioned her plans to paint her nails and do a full shave. Despite waking up with a spot on her cheek, she remained positive and joked about not picking at it with her comedian husband Chris: "You need to not let me pick it today...I literally could make this into a crater."

Maya Jama, the host of ITV's Love Island, nominated in the best reality competition category, expressed her swollen face and regretted not drinking enough water. She later shared a video while traveling to the event, showcasing her bare face and mentioning her late start in getting ready for the red carpet: "I start glam so late for these things, if I don’t make the red carpet I’ll get hotel pics.

Unfortunately, Claudia Winkleman, nominated for best TV presenter for The Traitors, and Strictly Come Dancing co-host, will not be attending the NTAs. Winkleman took to Instagram to wish the best to The Traitors and Strictly, adding three red love hearts to her message indicating her disappointment.
