Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen has announced the postponement of all his concerts scheduled for September 2023. This decision comes as Springsteen is dealing with symptoms related to peptic ulcer disease.

In a statement shared on social media, Springsteen expressed his disappointment, particularly to his fans in Philadelphia, whom he missed performing for a few weeks ago. He assured his fans that he will make it up to them in the future. He expressed his gratitude for their understanding and support.

According to a representative for Springsteen, there has been no immediate response to Fox News Digital's request for comment regarding the concert postponement.

During August, Springsteen had already cancelled two shows, with one cancellation occurring just a few hours before the scheduled performance. At the time, he cited an unspecified illness as the reason for the cancellations.

The rock star has been on a tour since February 1, starting in Tampa, Florida, then touring across Europe, before returning to the United States. He has taken very few breaks, only postponing a handful of shows in March due to illness.

Concerts were cancelled in Albany, New York; Columbus, Ohio; and Uncasville, Connecticut, however, the specific reasons for these cancellations were not shared.

In Springsteen's recent social media post, he revealed that his medical team had advised him to postpone his September concert dates due to symptoms from peptic ulcer disease (PUD). The most common symptom of PUD is stomach pain, according to the Mayo Clinic.

As a result of his illness, Springsteen's tour dates for November will be focused on Canada, while he will be skipping the East Coast. The tour is set to conclude with a series of concerts in Arizona and California, with the final concert scheduled for December 10 in San Francisco.
