Fatboy Slim invites Derry Girls cast on stage in Derry

Fatboy Slim surprised the crowd at his show in Derry by bringing out the cast of Derry Girls on stage. Actresses Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, who play Erin and Michelle on the show, joined the DJ during his performance, accompanied by rave horns.

This collaboration is not the first time that Derry Girls and Fatboy Slim have intertwined. In fact, an entire episode of the Channel 4 show was centered around a fictional Fatboy Slim Halloween party. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the DJ was unable to make an appearance on the show.

The irony of the situation was not lost on Fatboy Slim, who took to social media to express his amusement. In a post, he wrote, “Life imitates art as the Derry girls join me on stage, in Derry.”
