The app, called Real World Portal, was created by Tate after the closure of his online academy called "Hustler's University". The academy promised to help Tate's fans make thousands of pounds while also promoting his controversial social media videos, which have been criticized for their misogynistic content.

Accusations of Misogyny and Pyramid Scheme

McCue Jury & Partners, a legal firm representing four British women who have accused Tate of sexual and physical assault, alleged that the Real World Portal app specifically targets young men and encourages misogyny. They claim that members of the app exchange techniques on how to control and exploit women. Additionally, the firm asserts that there is evidence suggesting that the app operates as an illegal pyramid scheme, with a monthly fee of $49.99 for membership.

Google's Play store removed the Real World Portal app last week following similar claims of it being an illegal pyramid scheme and promoting misogyny.

Apple's Decision to Remove the App

Apple announced on Friday night that they have also removed the Real World Portal app from their app store. The decision came after receiving a letter from the legal firm representing the assault accusers, urging Apple to reconsider whether the app aligns with its policies and if hosting it poses any corporate liability.

The legal firm argued that Apple was profiting directly from hosting the app, as the company takes a 30% royalty cut from app purchases and in-app transactions.

Civil Proceedings and Human Trafficking Charges

Four women in their late 20s and early 30s are currently pursuing civil proceedings against Tate for alleged offenses that took place between 2013 and 2016 in the UK.

Meanwhile, Tate is awaiting trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking. He, along with Tristan, were charged in June alongside two Romanian female suspects for human trafficking, rape, and involvement in a criminal gang that sexually exploited women. All suspects have denied the allegations.

Andrew Tate's Response

A spokesperson for Andrew Tate denied the allegations, stating, "We unequivocally deny the allegations that 'The Real World' app operates as a pyramid scheme or perpetuates harmful techniques aimed at exploiting any individuals, particularly women. The user community, which includes a significant number of women within the 200,000-strong user base, can attest to the positive impact and educational value the app provides."

Tate's spokesperson maintained that the accusations lacked credible evidence and were part of a targeted campaign against Tate. They emphasized the app's commitment to transparency and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Andrew Tate's team plans to appeal the decision made by Google Play to remove the app.
