Coronation Street actor Ryan Earl, known for his role as Darren Vance, is about to face a heartbreaking discovery regarding his wife's affair on the popular soap opera.

Ever since arriving on the cobbles, Darren and his wife Courtney, portrayed by Stephanie Davies, have been assisting Dev Alahan with his business endeavors. However, Courtney developed an attraction to Dev's younger son Aadi, and the two have been engaging in a secret affair behind Darren's back for several weeks.

In an interview with The Mirror, the soap star revealed, "When it does unravel, it's shocking for Darren and the ultimate betrayal. It's also heartbreaking because, even though we're a new couple on the show, you can see we've been together for a long time. You witness a genuine marriage falling apart and the aftermath that follows."

Despite his wife's infidelity, Ryan Earl explained that his character doesn't immediately turn against her and remains supportive. He added, "You want to forgive them but can't, or maybe you can and then you start hurting each other, so it's messy."

The actor also mentioned that Darren's discovery of Courtney's secret lover, Aadi, comes as a major shock as he had considered him young and innocent.
