An Exciting Development for Xiaomi 14: 90W Fast Charging Certification

Xiaomi is set to make a major splash before the end of 2023 with the imminent launch of its highly anticipated 14 series. In a notable development, the Chinese Compulsory Certification (CCC) has approved one of the smartphones in the lineup. The smartphone, with the model number 23127PN0CC, is believed to be the vanilla Xiaomi 14, which boasts the incredible feature of 90W fast charging.

Powering the Xiaomi 14 will be a remarkable power output range of 5-20V at 6.1-4.5A, allowing for a maximum 90W charging speed. This impressive capability will be facilitated by the Xiaomi MDY-14-EC charger, which also supports rates of up to 90W. However, it remains to be seen whether the adapter will be included in the smartphone's retail box.

In an interesting twist, earlier this year, the Xiaomi 13 was shipped with the charger included, but only in international markets. Chinese users were presented with the option to separately purchase the charger as it was not included in the box.
