Upgraded £100 Million Transformation for Leeds Bradford Airport

The UK's Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) has revealed plans for a major upgrade of its terminal facilities, with an investment of £100 million. The project, approved by Leeds City Council, aims to enhance the passenger experience and drive economic growth in the region.

The transformation will involve the construction of a 9,500sqm, three-story extension to the existing terminal, as well as a refurbishment of the current building. Passengers can look forward to various improvements, including additional aircraft stands, increased seating capacity, faster security procedures, new retail and dining options, and a larger baggage reclaim area and immigration hall. The upgrade will also prioritize accessibility for passengers with restricted mobility.
