Unravel the Mystery: Samsung Galaxy S23 FE's Encounter with the 3C and its Preferred Charging Speed
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE launch is drawing near, marking the comeback of Samsung’s "Fan Edition" smartphones. The lineup made its debut in October 2020 with the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, which was a big hit. However, its sequels did not achieve the same level of success. Last year, Samsung put the lineup on hold and did not release a Galaxy S22 FE. Now, the lineup is set to return with the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.
As we eagerly await an official launch date, the device has been making appearances in certifications. It recently obtained the 3C certification approval, revealing some information about its charging speed. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G appeared on the 3C certification with the model number SM-S7110. The listing confirms that Samsung will once again stick with its preferred 25W fast charging for one of its flagship devices.

Samsung remains conservative when it comes to implementing fast charging technology in its smartphones. While other Android OEMs are pushing boundaries with 120W, 165W, and even 240W charging, Samsung continues to stick with 25W and 45W on its flagships. The highest charging rate can only be found in the most advanced models like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. As the Galaxy S23 FE is considered a "basic" flagship, it will feature the standard 25W charging.
The 3C certification also confirms that the simple 25W adapter will not be included with the phone and will need to be purchased separately. However, it's worth noting that this strategy may vary for different regions.
