While 5G is available across most of Europe, the satisfaction and awareness among users vary significantly. However, the survey reveals that Ireland has one of the highest levels of satisfaction with its telecommunication networks, second only to the Netherlands.

Despite the high level of awareness and satisfaction among Irish consumers, there is a significant difference when it comes to actual adoption of 5G. Only 27% of respondents in Ireland reported using 5G on their smartphones, compared to the 84% who are aware of the technology. This difference can be attributed to multiple factors, including the economic impact of looming recessions in many countries, slower upgrade rates due to rising costs, and the availability of lower-cost smartphone models that do not support 5G.
