2025 Toyota GRMN Supra Spied, Possibly Hiding 473-HP M4 Engine
Spotted at the Nürburgring racetrack in Germany, what appears to be the 2025 Toyota GRMN Supra has been seen testing. The prototype, sporting camouflage typically reserved for Gazoo Racing (GR) models, showcases upgraded aero elements and beefier brakes compared to regular Supra models. Rumors dating back to 2020 hint that the GRMN Supra could feature the BMW M4's 473-horsepower twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six engine.

GRMN: Gazoo Racing Tuned by the Meister of the Nürburgring
While many Supra fans are familiar with Toyota's GR division, not everyone may know about GRMN, which stands for "Gazoo Racing tuned by the Meister of the Nürburgring." This moniker pays tribute to Hiromu Naruse, Toyota's late chief test driver.

GRMN Supra Hardware
The Supra test mule seen at the Nürburgring displays notable features including a revised front lip, canards, and a prominent rear wing. The prototype's rear wing differs from the one on the 2024 Supra 45th Anniversary Edition, with lightweight mounting brackets and distinct tips. Other distinguishable upgrades include upgraded brakes, a lowered ride height, and the possibility of a revised and stiffer suspension for enhanced handling. The prototype also showcases larger brake calipers, cross-drilled rotors, and lighter wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Supra+M4 Engine=GRMN
Speculation suggests that the GRMN Supra could be equipped with a detuned version of the BMW M4's engine, similar to the powerplant found in the 453-horsepower BMW M2. Notably, these engines are available with a manual transmission. However, it is unlikely that the more powerful 543-horsepower M3 CS and M4 CSL engines will be used. Only time will reveal the exact specifications and configuration of the GRMN Supra.
