Florence Welch Opens Up About Life-Saving Surgery
The seven-time Grammy nominee recently took to Instagram to update her fans on her health, revealing that an undisclosed surgery had "saved her life." Apologizing for having to cancel some shows, Florence shared that she had to undergo emergency surgery, although she did not go into detail about the reasons.

Alluding to a previous injury that resulted in the postponement of her UK shows last year, Florence expressed her gratitude for the surgery's life-saving impact. She reassured her fans that she would be back to close out the Dance Fever tour in Lisbon and Malaga, albeit with less jumping.

Facing Challenges and Finding Strength
Florence, who recently experienced a chart resurgence with her hit song "Dog Days Are Over" due to its popularity on TikTok, shared her thoughts on the power of creativity and mythology in coping with difficult times.

"Suffice to say I wish the songs were less accurate in their predictions. But creativity is a way of coping, mythology is a way of making sense. And the dark fairytale of Dance Fever, with all its strange prophecies, will provide me with much needed strength and catharsis right now."
