Twitch announced on Friday that its creators can now stream live on any platform, expanding beyond previous limitations to mobile platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This move allows streamers more flexibility, except for those who have exclusive agreements with Twitch.

In recent times, popular Twitch streamers such as xQc, Amouranth, and Nickmercs have signed deals with competing platform Kick. While xQc and Nickmercs have non-exclusive agreements, it seems that Amouranth's agreement is also not limited to Twitch. Ninja, who previously had an exclusive contract with Twitch, dropped it to stream on multiple platforms.

Twitch's new simulcasting guidelines
Twitch has outlined some guidelines for its streamers regarding the new simulcasting policy. Streamers must ensure that the quality of their Twitch stream is on par with other platforms. Additionally, they are prohibited from sharing links to their Twitch community on other platforms while streaming. Streamers are also not allowed to use third-party services to merge chat across platforms.

Furthermore, Twitch plans to introduce a tool in the future to indicate when streamers are simulcasting.
