Magic: The Gathering Fallout Cards and Release Date Revealed, From Dogmeat to Deathclaws

Dogmeat is headed to Magic: Gathering. Wizards of the Coast has unveiled a lineup of new cards for its upcoming Magic: The Gathering - Fallout collection, featuring well-known characters, enemies, and abilities from Bethesda's RPG series.

Fallout: New Vegas takes the spotlight in the collection, with prominent characters like Mr. House and Caesar making an appearance. These figures, who played significant roles in Obsidian's highly regarded RPG, will now be part of the Magic: The Gathering universe.

Caesar is one of the leaders in the set's various decks, alongside other characters such as Dogmeat, Dr. Madison Li, and Mothman. These Commanders are designed to enhance and augment specific deck strategies. For example, Dr. Li enables commanding pre-war robots, while Dogmeat assists in retrieving Aura and Equipment cards for the player's hand.

Magic: The Gathering has been actively incorporating popular licenses into its game, including sets themed around franchises like Lord of the Rings and Doctor Who. Earlier this year, a unique version of the One Ring card fetched a staggering £2 million in a sale.

Wizards of the Coast has also confirmed the release date for the new Magic: The Gathering set. Players can get their hands on the Fallout-inspired cards starting March 8, 2024.
