PUBG Mobile Introduces £82.3m Creator Investment Plan
In an effort to reward players, PUBG Mobile has announced a three-year, £82.3m investment plan, known as the Wonder Creators Network. This initiative aims to support the co-creation ecosystem within the game, providing funding for competitions, opportunities, and incentives.

The Wonder Creators Network will focus on PUBG Mobile's Ptopia Design Project (PDP) and World of Wonder (WOW) mode. PDP collaborates with artists to create game content, while WOW mode allows players to build their own maps and modes using the platform. The investment plan includes a prize pool of £617,300 for creators participating in World of Wonder and Ptopia Design Project competitions in 2023. Additionally, a further incentive plan worth 'tens of millions of dollars' is expected to launch in 2024.

With each new update cycle of PUBG Mobile's World of Wonder mode, themed contests will be introduced, offering a £41,100 prize pool and various in-game rewards. The Version 2.8 Update will also feature a new creator showdown event called the Tournament of Wonder, enabling creators to design thematic maps. Players will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite maps, with cash prizes of up to £820 for the winners and a shared cash prize pool of £41,100 for the top 200 maps. Additionally, the top 5,000 creators will receive Crate Coupons worth over £8,200.

Over the past two years, PUBG Mobile has received over 400,000 submissions for its Ptopia Design Project, resulting in the implementation of 50 player-designed items in the game. The PDP's mid-year comprehensive design competition is currently accepting submissions, and the 5th Global Design Competition and the first esports-focused co-design competition are set to launch soon. PUBG Mobile has also introduced additional initiatives such as the 'Journey to Wonders' creator growth system, the 'Coaching of Wonders' Discord community, and a Creator Awards Ceremony.
