This highly anticipated panel is said to offer exceptional brightness, with reports indicating that the 1440p version will reach an impressive 3,000 nits, while the 1220p variant is expected to surpass this mind-blowing threshold.

For context, the OnePlus Open boasts a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits and a peak brightness of 2,800 nits. Though in our tests, we observed slightly lower achievable brightness levels than what OnePlus claims.

The new BOE display is also anticipated to support 2160 Hz PWM dimming, a notable improvement from the current panels' 1440 Hz, as well as Single Pulse DC.
