In true Google fashion, the highly anticipated Pixel 8a, slated for a 2024 release, has leaked in stunning live images. These photos, which surfaced shortly after the device's appearance on Geekbench, appear to be authentic.

A Familiar Design with a Twist

The Pixel 8a showcases a sleek blue color and a back design that's consistent with the previous two generations, Pixel 6 and 7. The camera module protrusion remains, but the front of the device presents a notable change.

The most apparent difference is the rounded shape of the chassis, departing from the previous model's sharp corners. Unfortunately, it seems that the bezels have also undergone changes, now appearing noticeably thicker. These leaked images suggest that it may be challenging to market the device with these bulkier bezels, despite its budget-friendly positioning.

In an interesting development, the leak also mentions the introduction of the Tensor G3 on X (formerly known as Twitter), hinting at the Pixel 8a's utilization of Google's yet-to-be-launched SoC. This new chip is expected to power the highly anticipated Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, set to debut in October.
