In a recent interview with Mobile World Live, Jeff Saling, executive director and co-founder of StartupNV, revealed that Nevada has enacted legislation aimed at supporting startups. The state became the first in the US to implement 'right to start' laws, which eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy and barriers that often hinder the establishment of new businesses.

Saling emphasized the positive impact of this legislation, stating, "A new law passed by our legislation allows investors in Nevada to invest in Nevada companies at a much different standard than the national standard." He further explained that this change would enable a larger percentage of Nevada's population, around 25 percent, to become investors in the local startup ecosystem, compared to the mere 4 percent allowed under the national law.
