Huawei is keeping the exact chipset used in the Mate 60 series under wraps, but it is speculated to feature the powerful 7nm Kirin 9000s processor. The Mate 60 Pro+ boasts an impressive 16GB of RAM (up from 12GB in the Pro model) and a choice of either 512GB or 1TB of storage. The storage capacity can be expanded using Huawei's NM card format, with support for up to 256GB.

A Stunning Display

The Mate 60 Pro+ features a 6.82" LTPO OLED display, similar to the Pro model, but with a slightly higher resolution of 1,260 x 2,720px. This 10-bit panel offers a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz. The display brightness is controlled by a high-frequency PWM dimming technology with a 1,440Hz frequency.

The Mate 60 Pro+ features second-gen Kunlun glass for enhanced protection. It boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand being submerged up to 6m/20ft for up to 30 minutes.

Availability and Pricing

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is expected to be available for shipping on October 9th. The price has not yet been announced. However, customers can reserve a spot in line by placing a CNY 1,000 deposit (equivalent to approximately £108). The final price is speculated to be around CNY 9,000 (£980/€1,060).

Customers can choose between the 512GB and 1TB storage options and two color variants - Black and Cream. The CNY 1,000 deposit is applicable regardless of the chosen configuration. For reference, the Mate 60 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 7,000 (£760/€820).
