Huawei's Path to Recovery

Despite facing ongoing sanctions, Huawei's rotating chairman remains optimistic about the company's future. With 2023 projected as a year of returning to normal business operations, Huawei recently reported a slight increase in sales during the first half of the year. While Huawei's smartphone business has been significantly affected by limited access to advanced chips, the recent launch of the Huawei Mate 60 Series breathes new life into their smartphone division. The series boasts advanced chips manufactured solely in China and includes 5G capabilities that Huawei had been unable to offer for several years due to US-imposed sanctions.
