Honor has quietly launched the X40 GT Racing Edition, a minor update from the regular X40 GT that was launched last year. The new Racing Edition comes in two variants, both with 12GB of RAM. The starting price for the 256GB storage variant is around £180, while the 512GB version is priced at around £200. The device is available in Racing Silver, Racing Black, and Midnight Black color options.

In terms of specifications, the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition is similar to the regular X40 GT. It is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC and comes with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. The device features a 6.81-inch FHD+ LCD with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 144Hz refresh rate. It has a 50MP primary rear camera and a 16MP front camera for selfies. The X40 GT Racing Edition also includes a 4800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
