Achieving Job Growth: HCS Partners with Fortinet

HCS, an Irish IT firm, is set to create 15 new job opportunities following a lucrative deal with Fortinet. The company anticipates a €2.5m increase in revenue over the next two years, leading to the expansion of its team to meet the expected surge in demand.

Expanding Team for Increased Demand

In order to support the expected growth, HCS is expanding its team, particularly in its security managed and professional services departments. The company's careers page already features job listings for a senior technical consultant and an IT field service engineer.

Specialist Managed Offerings

HCS also plans to provide specialized managed offerings to its customers. These offerings will cover various security aspects such as cloud security, network security, firewalls, security fabric, zero trust network access, and SD-WAN.

"It cements our position in the security solutions and services marketplace and will enable us to provide an enhanced offering to our customers," stated HCS. The company is excited to work with both new and existing customers to strengthen their security architectures and further develop their relationship with Fortinet.

Continued Growth and Investments

This recent partnership aligns with HCS's previous business plans. Last year, the Waterford-headquartered company announced its intent to invest €3.2m in growing its business and doubling its workforce within the next three years. €1.13m of this investment has been allocated towards enhancing its cybersecurity offerings.

HCS further expanded its business earlier this year through the acquisition of Fixaphone, a supplier of business telephone systems. The company foresees a telecoms turnover of €1m within the next three years as a direct result of this deal.
