Fallout 76 Gets New Expedition in Atlantic City This Winter
Fallout 76 is expanding its horizons beyond West Virginia with its upcoming Expeditions, allowing players to explore new cities in post-apocalyptic America. The second Expedition, set in Atlantic City, has just been announced by Bethesda. The update will be delivered in two parts, with the first installment arriving on December 5th.

Boardwalk Paradise and America's Playground
The Atlantic City updates, titled Boardwalk Paradise and America's Playground, introduce a different environment compared to the rugged hills of the base game. Players can now enjoy a casino where they can gamble their in-game currency, alongside new factions, creatures, missions, and rewards.

The first part of the Expedition, Boardwalk Paradise, will be available for testing on the Public Test Server starting October 3rd. Steam users will have the chance to experience the new content firsthand. The full update will be launched on December 5th. The release date for the concluding part, America's Playground, has yet to be announced. This final part promises a story reminiscent of New Vegas and draws inspiration from crime dramas like Boardwalk Empire.

In 2020, Fallout 76 introduced NPCs and more traditional questlines with the Wastelanders update. This was followed by expansions related to the Brotherhood of Steel, the introduction of season passes, and various public events including battles against alien invaders and the popular festival known as Meat Week.
