A new update to the Diablo 4 shop has added the Lich King's Invincible mount from World of Warcraft. However, players will have to pay a hefty price for this bundle.

Similar to other live-service games, Diablo 4 features an in-game shop that regularly updates its items. Players can purchase items using Platinum, the in-game currency obtainable through real money and Battle Pass rewards.

The shop has faced criticism for its high prices before. Blizzard received backlash for giving Season 1 Battle Pass buyers 666 Platinum, despite the lowest-priced item in the shop costing 800 Platinum.

Lich King's Invincible mount from WoW enters Diablo 4 shop

According to Twitch streamer Toweliee, the Lich King's trusty steed, Invincible, is now available for purchase in the Diablo 4 shop. The bundle includes the mount, Bard of Undying Loyalty mount armor, Domination Helm trophy, and the Echo of Frostmourne trophy. In addition, players will unlock a special charge animation for the mount.

The Invincible mount bundle is priced at 2,500 Platinum, which translates to around £25. Players will need to spend this amount unless they already have Platinum in their account.

The addition of the Lich King's mount suggests that these two Blizzard universes will continue to intertwine in the future.
