While the addition of the twin swords is purely cosmetic, they enhance the set's Witcher aesthetic with care taken to the design details hinting at numerous battle scars already endured.

Bungie's Joel Moran explained, "Infusing the armor with a medieval feel and damage indicators was key to conveying its storied past. Not to mention, crafting the swords was a unique challenge, requiring team-wide coordination to achieve a look consistent across all sets."
