BMW Confirms Five M Cars Will Be Launched In 2024
BMW has officially confirmed that they will be launching five new M cars in 2024. This announcement was made by M boss Frank van Meel during the Australian launch of the i5 M60 and i7 M70 electric M Performance models. Among the M models set to debut next year is an updated version of the M3 and M4. While it's uncertain whether the update will also include the wagon, coupe, and convertible body styles, spy shots have revealed that the M3 and M4 will receive minor styling changes, with the most significant update being sharper-looking headlights featuring a matrix adaptive LED setup.

BMW has teased that it will be the fastest model to ever go around the Nürburgring. The M3 CS will have xDrive, unlike the M4 CSL which uses a rear-wheel drive setup.

In addition to the M3 and M4, van Meel confirmed that the next-generation M5 Sedan (G90) and the return of the M5 Touring (G99) are set to be released in 2024. These models will inherit the plug-in hybrid V8 setup from the XM electrified SUV, providing an estimated combined output of over 700 horsepower.

Despite not being officially listed, the highly anticipated M2 CS is expected to make an appearance. The M2 CS is rumored to have over 500 horsepower with a CSL-like ducktail spoiler, larger wheels and tires, and a special M-exclusive color.
BMW's plans for 2024 showcase their commitment to delivering high-performance M models to their customers. With the announcement of these five new M cars, fans of the brand can expect an exciting year ahead.
