The most recent tastes to hit Morrisons stores are Apple Crumble and Custard Pale Ale; Roast Dinner Brown Ale; and a Sticky Toffee Pudding and Custard Porter, all of which are available from £2.50 each.

The individual beers are 330ml and 4.5 per cent alcohol, and a mixed pack of four costs £5.50.

Aunt Bessie’s was founded in 1995, when its ready-made Yorkshire Puddings became available in supermarkets for the first time. The puddings were originally invented in 1974 for Butlins Holiday Camps, manufactured by Bessie’s then-parent company, the William Jackson Food Group. The name Aunt Bessie is a branding tool.
