Grey Gardens
In 1972, Radziwill commissioned acclaimed documentary filmmakers Albert and David Maysles to create a film about the Bouvier family. Instead of focusing on the more famous members like Jackie, the brothers turned their attention to Radziwill's aunt Edith Beale and her daughter Edith. The Maysles were captivated by the women's eccentric lifestyle in their run-down home, resulting in the 1975 documentary "Grey Gardens." This documentary became a landmark of the genre and inspired a stage musical and an HBO television film.

Radziwill's first marriage was to publishing executive and former US diplomatic aide Michael Canfield in 1953, which ended in divorce in 1958. In 1959, she married Polish nobleman Prince Stanisław Radziwiłł, with whom she had two children before divorcing in 1974.
