Joseph Fiennes was born Joseph Alberic Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes on May 27, 1970, in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. He is the son of writer Jennifer Lash and farmer/photographer Mark Fiennes, and he has five older siblings, Ralph, Martha, Sophie, Magnus, and Jacob (Joseph's fraternal twin).
