Born on April 28, 1973, in Omaha, Nebraska, Jorge Fernando Garcia is the son of Dora Mesa and Humberto Garcia. Dora is a professor from Cuba, while Humberto is a doctor from Chile. Jorge and his younger sister grew up in Orange County, California. He attended San Clemente High School, where his exceptional performance on the school wrestling team earned him the nickname "Baby-Faced Killer." During his senior year, Garcia was honored as the "Triton of the Year" by the school's faculty. Following high school, Jorge pursued a Communication Studies degree at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and also took acting classes at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
