David Michael Hasselhoff was born on July 17, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the son of Dolores and Joseph Hasselhoff. Hasselhoff made his feature film debut in 1974's "Revenge of the Cheerleaders." Not long after graduating from college, Hasselhoff was cast on "The Young and the Restless" as Dr. Snapper Foster. He played this role from 1975 to 1982.
