EastEnders spoilers (November 13 to 17)

Next week on EastEnders, Alfie is forced to face reality when he returns to Walford, Sharon gets life-changing news about Albie, and Kathy is arrested over the cafe fire.

1. Alfie shares some news

Alfie returns from Spain and heads to the hospital with Linda for his PSA results.

He pales when Kat tears into him for his disappearing act when he gets back to the Square, but she soon softens when Alfie shares the truth about what's been going on.

2. Kathy is arrested

The Beales are distraught in the aftermath of the fire at the cafe.

Cindy is quick to blame Kathy for the incident, and storms back to Walford after spotting a warm moment between Kathy and Ian. George comforts Cindy in The Vic and encourages her to head back to the hospital after sharing some home truths about her behavior. At the hospital, Cindy appears to have forgiven Kathy as she and Ian put the earlier events of the day behind them. However, the police later arrive to arrest Kathy for her involvement in the fire.

3. Keanu proposes again

As the community reels from the fire, Keanu makes a misjudged joke.

This falls flat with Sharon, who is shaken by recent events. An anxious Sharon agrees to let Keanu collect Albie from preschool. Once back at No.45, she asks him to propose again so she can accept. Sharon and Keanu tell Mitch and Bernadette about their engagement as they prepare to celebrate in The Vic. Sharon tries to persuade Karen to join the celebrations, but she refuses.

4. Phil panics over his secret

Phil is worried about his secret as Kat comforts Alfie at No.55.

Kat and Alfie head to Walford East where Alfie reveals his prostate cancer diagnosis to Tommy. Afterwards, Phil accosts Alfie about Emma, wanting to know if Alfie intends to tell Kat the truth. Alfie insists he has no interest in telling Kat, given the current situation.

5. Rocky is encouraged to come clean

News of Kathy's arrest is rife on the Square as she remains at the police station, having been questioned through the night.

Kathy refuses a solicitor but starts to regret her decision when she's questioned for hours. As Kathy remains in custody, a guilty Rocky is accosted by Harvey, who encourages him to come clean. Listening to his friend, Rocky heads to the police station.

6. Sharon gets life-changing news

Sharon's week takes a worrying turn when she receives a phone call from the hospital requesting an urgent appointment to discuss Albie's test results.

Keanu tries to reassure Sharon as they anxiously prepare for Albie's hospital appointment. When Keanu fails to arrive on time, Sharon starts the appointment without him. When Keanu finally turns up, he and Sharon are shocked by the news about Albie – and agree to have tests themselves.

7. Cindy and Ian clash

Cindy continues to blame everyone for what's happened in regards to the fire and horrifies Ian with her comments.

Elaine and George are shocked to discover that Cindy spent the night at The Vic following her fallout with Ian. Anna dotes on Cindy but soon kicks her out when she learns the truth.

8. Reiss makes a shock discovery

Sonia sympathizes with Kathy's current predicament, and Reiss is shocked to learn that Sonia was once imprisoned for murder.

Reiss continues to question Sonia throughout the day, prompting her to snap. Sonia eventually orders him home and prepares to tell him everything.

9. Bernadette finds support in her friends

Mitch rallies the residents of Walford to raise money for Bernadette and Marie, following the fire.

Kathy lands Bernadette a job at The Vic when Elaine decides to serve breakfast while the café is out of action.

10. Eve gets a new love interest

Eve goes on a date with a new love interest Tessa at Walford East.

Things turn awkward when she's faced with Suki, who is there for lunch with the Panesars.

11. Cindy tries to make amends

Cindy heads to The Vic but retreats to No.45 for some peace when Kathy arrives.

In an attempt to regain Ian's trust, Cindy invites Kathy and Rocky to move back to No.45, which they gladly accept.
