Nicola Thorpe from Blackpool teams up with Jeremy Kyle for exciting new TalkTV show

The 34-year-old former Coronation Street star will host a new breakfast show on TalkTV titled "Talk Today" starting from October. She will be co-hosting with Jeremy Kyle, the former presenter of "The Jeremy Kyle Show".

The show, airing Monday to Thursday from 6am to 9:30am, will offer a dynamic mix of news and views.

"Talk Today" will be shot at the state-of-the-art TV studios in The News Building at London Bridge. The show aims to cover the daily news agenda and provide an opportunity for the public to share their opinions.

Nicola has previously appeared on Sharon Osbourne's show 'The Talk' and ITV's 'This Morning'. However, this will be her first time hosting her own show. She comes from a family that has been running a Blackpool rock factory since the 1960s.

Prior to her new show, Nicola portrayed Nicola Rubinstein on 'Coronation Street' from 2017 to 2019. She also appeared on 'Celebrity Hunted' with her fiancé, actor Nikesh Patel.

Jeremy, 58, started on TalkRadio in September 2021 after the cancellation of "The Jeremy Kyle Show" two years ago. Since 2022, he has been hosting his own primetime show on TalkTV. The show will be aired during weekday evenings.

"Talk Today" will be replacing Julia Hartley-Brewer's breakfast show, as she moves to a 1-3pm slot. Additionally, Rosanna Lockwood will fill Jeremy's old 7-8pm slot, following her recent appearance on Piers Morgan's 'Uncensored' show.
