Morgan Webb was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in October 1978. She studied at UC Berkeley and worked as a website administrator. In 2001, she was hired by TechTV as the associate producer for The Screen Savers, thanks to her friend Catherine Schwartz. Webb co-hosted "Call for Help" with Chris Pirillo in 2002 and 2003. In 2003, she left The Screen Savers to co-host X-Play with Adam Sessier. Webb was one of the six TechTV personalities who survived layoffs after the 2004 merger of G4 and TechTV. As of 2012, she remained the only original TechTV personality still with the network.
Writing and Other Ventures:
In 2005, Webb became a contributing columnist for FHM, writing a monthly column. From 2007 to 2009, she hosted a daily video blog called WebbAlert. In 2009, Morgan became the host of the new show G4 Underground. She also co-anchored Microsoft's Xbox @ E3 in 2013. Currently, Webb works as a consultant and creative advisor for Activision Blizzard. She hosts and produces Blizzard's World of Warcraft program, WoW Source. Alongside co-hosting X-Play, she also served as the senior segment producer.
