Headteacher Condemns Gillian Keegan's Outburst: Education Secretary's Remarks Criticized

The education secretary was left squirming as she was forced to watch the Leicester teacher expressing her dismay and strong disapproval of the remarks made by Gillian Keegan.

Keegan was caught on camera yesterday expressing her frustration over not being acknowledged or appreciated for her hard work, while implying that others had been idle.

The minister was being interviewed on Sky News's Politics Hub programme when the clip was played for her.

The headteacher, whose school is among the many that had to partially or completely close due to unsafe concrete, expressed shock at Keegan's language and behavior.

"Oh my goodness. And that's our education secretary using that language for the situation," the headteacher stated.

"What I would like to say is, please, Gillian, come and see my school. I have worked tirelessly since we received the closure notice to ensure things function smoothly.

"I am horrified and disgusted by what I've just seen," the headteacher added.

Keegan promptly clarified, "I wasn't talking about her at all. She's done an amazing job, as have all the individuals in our schools."

The scandal surrounding unsafe concrete in schools came to light just days before the end of the summer holidays.
